"I had been considering selling my house for a while and spoke to many realtors to find out how much I could sell for, however I wasn't ready until recently. I was a little worried because I thought I might have missed the opportunity to sell when prices were high in 2022. I was sure happy to finally talk to Leland, a local real estate agent in Everett who knew my market area very well. He answered all of my questions about the real estate market and referred me to his website so I could learn more about the selling process. I was immediately impressed with all the information he put together, showing real estate statistics in the cities around Snohomish County, and explained how the market changes at different times of the year! Leland had some recommendations for updating and "refreshing" before we listed my townhouse for sale to get the best return. A little paint, new carpet, and some pieces of furniture to keep in place for staging was really all I had to do to get ready. He listed the house for a price we agreed on and reassured me that we should be able to sell it fast while working hard to get the most out of the sale. After JUST 24 HOURS, my house was sold for over list price!! I would've been happy to sell at list price of 515k but was so excited when I heard the news that he had negotiated a straightforward deal with a buyer ready to close in 1 week!! I didn't even know this was possible! He worked with escrow and title, who had only 4 working days to close after the holiday weekend. But they were able to pull it off on such short notice, and as I'm writing this, my house has officially sold!
